We’re a same-day commercial print shop based in Atlanta, GA (flyersatl.com) looking for a reliable print file specialist to join our team on a part-time, ongoing basis. You’ll be handling file prep and formatting for real customer orders — flyers, banners, step-and-repeats, door hangers, business cards, and more. Turnaround times are tight, so dependability matters just as much as skill.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Resize, reformat, and fix customer-submitted artwork for print-ready output • Convert files between formats (PDF, AI, PSD, PNG, JPEG, Canva exports)
• Apply correct bleed, safe zone, crop marks, and CMYK color profiles
• Preflight files and flag issues (low res, RGB color, missing bleed, wrong size)
• Make minor design edits or layout adjustments as needed
• Communicate clearly if a file needs customer correction before we can print
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Acrobat / PDF editing
• Canva (must be comfortable exporting print-ready PDFs)
• Strong understanding of bleed, DPI/resolution, and CMYK vs RGB BONUS (not required):
• InDesign experience
• Experience working with a print shop or print vendor
• Familiarity with US standard print sizes
DETAILS:
• $10–$15/hr based on experience • Approx. 24 hours/week (flexible across weekdays)
• Remote — work from anywhere
• Must be responsive during business hours (Eastern Time)
